The PickleBall

I had a vivid dream recently.

I was speaking with a woman, someone in a position of authority. She held a pickleball in her hand, looked me in the eye, and said:

“This is a replica of the universe.”

Strange? Maybe. But in the dream, something clicked.

I felt awe wash over me as I stared at the ball. A deep, wordless understanding landed. And then I felt pulled back into my body and woke up with a jolt.

At first glance, a pickleball seems ordinary. It’s small, plastic, lightweight with holes all around it. But the longer I reflected, the more profound it became. A pickleball has holes that control its speed and path, making the game (or life) less about brute force and more about rhythm, timing, and placement.

And isn’t that just like the universe?

The universe, too, is not a dense or closed system. It’s perforated—full of mystery, dark matter, unseen forces, and possibilities. It’s not rigid, it flows. It doesn’t operate solely on power, but on connection, momentum, and interplay.

In the dream, the woman handing me the ball wasn’t just offering an object—she was offering a lens, a way to see life as a living, moving experience to engage with infinite possibilities. It’s porous flexible and energy flows in, out, through, and round. The universe is always moving, yet takes shape. The universe is playful, curious, and in motion.

It is your job to interact with it and realize that energy needs to flow. Don’t let emotions get stuck in you. Don’t let traumas take residence in your body. Let the energy flow and realize there are infinite possibilities for you.
